Global Justice Now Campaign

The British government is privatising education across Africa and Asia. In fact, they’re leading the world in setting up private schools, backing corporations that will make money from schools in places like Nigeria, Pakistan and Kenya. And they are using our aid money to do it.

These private schools that our government supports often employ badly-paid, unqualified teachers and are unaffordable for many poorer familes. The result is further inequality and discrimination, with the poorest losing out most of all.
