Some local petitions that need our support
As part of the assault to the Public Sector the government has massively short changed Birmingham as a city, along with lots of other Local Authorities. This year alone Birmingham need of at least £98m to ensure that cuts to Services and staff Terms and Conditions do not go ahead and that they can continue to provide vital services they provide. These cuts will be felt by anyone who lives or works in Birmingham or who regularly visits the City. By increases in rubbish (due to fewer staff) and homelessness (due to fewer staff and less money for homeless services) on the streets of Birmingham to closures and shorter opening times to Libraries, closures of Day Care and Childrens Centres.
